BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Terrence Julien, M.D., FACS, FAANS

Tampa, Fla. (Jan. 7, 2020) – Terrence Julien, M.D., FACS, FAANS has joined BayCare Medical Group at 2727 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd., Suite 460, Tampa. He is board certified in neurological surgery. He accepts patients ages 18 years and older and is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Dr. Julien completed his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Howard University, College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
He continued his medical education by completing a neurosurgery fellowship from New York University Medical Center in New York, New York. Dr. Julien also completed neurosurgery residencies at New York University Medical Center and at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Center at Syracuse in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Julien also completed a neurosurgical oncology fellowship at USF/H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
Dr. Julien has an extensive background in academics, having held several professorships in neurosurgery at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia, Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Society for Neuro-Oncology, North American Spine Society and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
