BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Luiz Marconcini, MD

Dr. Marconcini specializes in hematology and oncology.

Tampa, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2018) – Luiz Marconcini, MD, has joined BayCare Medical Group at 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tampa, as well as the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He is accepting new patients age 18 and older.

Dr. Marconcini is board certified in internal medicine, specializing in hematology and oncology. He is also certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, he is an accomplished author, having contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Marconcini earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He then completed an internal medicine residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Fargo, followed by the role of chief fellow for the hematology and oncology program at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He now is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
