September 03, 2014

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Sept. 3, 2014) – Break out your knickers, golf hose, pleated skirts and plaid as the fifth annual St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation Golf Classic steps back in time to the Roaring ‘20s on Friday, Oct. 24 at The Bayou Club, 7979 Bayou Club Blvd., Largo. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Pathways Program at St. Anthony’s through the hospital’s behavioral health department.

Volunteers will be roaming the course in vintage apparel to hearken back to the fashionable days of golf legends Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen. The all-inclusive fee of $300 per person includes fees for greens, cart, tee gifts, all contests and mulligans, raffle entry, range balls, lunch buffet and dinner reception. Meals will be prepared by Chef Tyson Grant of Parkshore Grill.

There also will be a hickory shaft putting contest and closest to the hole, hole in one and longest drive contests for men and women.
