Danielle Corson, NMT, ARRT (N)

Danielle Corson is the Bariatric Program Coordinator at Winter Haven Hospital. She coordinates all aspects of the multi-disciplinary Bariatric Program to ensure patients receive the upmost care. Danielle provides guidance, education, encouragement, and compassion to patients, and their families, throughout their weight loss journey. She is the liaison between the Bariatric Program and the surgical office to help prepare that metabolic and bariatric patients have the skills needed for positive outcomes and long term weight goals. To ensure the advancement of safe, high-quality care for our bariatric patients, Danielle is responsible for maintaining the hospital’s national accreditation through MBSAQIP (Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program). 

Danielle has over 20 years of patient care experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and in medical management.

Bariatric Outpatient Registered Dietitian

Shelby T Nowlin, MS, RD, LD/N

Shelby has over 5 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and later obtained her master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg.
