Ronald BarbourRonald Barbour, MD

Dr. Barbour is the Center's Infectious Disease Physician. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1986. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Barbour is a Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American Board of Infectious Diseases. He is a Certified Wound Specialist and a Hyperbaric Physician. He completed his hyperbaric training through International ATMO in San Antonio, TX.

Sayyed Tahir HussainSayyed Tahir Hussain, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Hussain is a Certified Wound Specialist by the American Academy of Wound Management. He is also a Fellow of the American Wound Care Association and a Member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. Dr. Hussain is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Wound Care, Geriatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He completed his hyperbaric training through International ATMO in 2008. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at University of South Florida. Dr. Hussain joined South Florida Baptist Hospital's Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in 2008.

Anthony RossiAnthony Rossi, DO

Dr. Anthony Rossi is a surgeon at South Florida Baptist Hospital and a part of BayCare Physician Partners and BayCare Medical Group. Dr. Rossi received his bachelors degree in biology from University of Miami, a masters degree in biomedical sciences from Barry University in Miami, and his Doctor of Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. He served his internship and completed his residency as General Surgery Chief Resident at Pinnacle Health Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

David DavenportDavid Davenport, OT, CHT, Manager

David joined BayCare Health System in 2000. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in  Occupational Therapy from Keuka College, New York in 1995. As an Occupational Therapist, he pursued interest in hand therapy and earned his certification in hand therapy in 2013. During his work with hand therapy, he developed extensive knowledge of wound care. He completed his training as a Hyperbaric Technician through International ATMO in San Antonio, TX in January 2014. In January 2014, he started managing South Florida Baptist Hospital's BayCare Wound Care. He also manages the inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Departments at South Florida Baptist Hospital serving the adult and pediatric population, as well as outpatient infusion services.

Wound Care Nurse

Jennifer joined BayCare Health System in 2012 and the Center in 2012. She received her Nursing Degree from State College of Florida in 2010. As a Wound Care Nurse, she developed special interests in negative pressure wound therapy and compression wrapping. Jennifer will be starting her Bachelors in Nursing and then work on her WOCN.

Julie SimpsonJulie Simpson, RN
Wound Care Nurse

Julie joined BayCare Health System in 1994 and the Center in 2009. She received her Certificate as Licensed Practical Nurse from Humana Health Institute, St. Petersburg in 1994 and earned her Nursing Degree from Hillsborough Community College in 1999. As a Wound Care Nurse, she developed special interests in negative pressure wound therapy and compression wrapping. Julie also works for BayCare as a Home Health Nurse and Cardiac Rehab Nurse.
