Tips to Prevent Injuries

No one is immune from strains and sprains, but here are some tips to help keep you injury-free.

  • Participate in a core-strengthening program to build abdominal and low  back muscle strength.

  • Do stretching exercises daily.

  • Maintain good posture.

  • Always wear properly fitting shoes.

  • Nourish your muscles by eating a well-balanced diet.

  • Get regular exercise in addition to conditioning.

  • Warm up before any sports activity, including practice and use or wear protective equipment appropriate for that sport.
