St. Joseph's Hospital Is Growing with You
As Generations Grow, We're Growing with You
For over 85 years, St. Joseph’s Hospital has delivered advanced medical treatment and compassionate care to Tampa Bay. Now, we continue to meet the needs of our growing community as we get bigger and better with our newest $126 million expansion.
Our new six-story tower features 90 private patient rooms, a two-story covered drop-off entrance and convenient patient registration access on the ground floor.
Part of our recent expansion included an elevated pedestrian bridge that connects St. Joseph’s Hospital to St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital. Visitors and team members can now safely and comfortably cross Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and access both hospitals. The bridge includes a private hallway for transporting patients, who no longer need an ambulance to take them for services they may need in the neighboring building. The other private hallway is designated for visitors and team members.
Medical Arts Building
Our Medical Arts Building offers a variety of services for children and adults. The facility provides easy access to many outpatient services including imaging, wound care, outpatient rehabilitation, speech and hearing services, and the diabetes and nutrition center. It’s also home to specialized pediatric services.
St. Joseph's Women's Hospital
St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital is located across the street from St. Joseph’s Hospital, and can now be easily accessed with the new elevated pedestrian bridge connecting the two hospitals. Known for its high-quality labor and delivery expertise, St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital also offers an array of services including breast health, pelvic health, oncology and surgical services.
St. Joseph's Children's Hospital
Conveniently located on the same campus as St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital offers specialized inpatient and outpatient pediatric care. Our specialized pediatric services, representing over 25 medical and surgical disciplines, are further strengthened by the 24-hour Steinbrenner Emergency/Trauma Center for Children.
