In the Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals 2020 national report, St. Joseph’s Hospital, a WINNER, scored 96th overall in quality of care. This performance is compared to 270 other large hospitals across the country. In support of our philosophy of continuous improvement, we are also proud that this high achievement represents us placing in the top 19% (81st percentile) in continuous improvement over the last five years.
St. Joseph’s Hospital is part of BayCare Health System, which scored in the 84th percentile in the Watson Health 15 Top Health Systems 2020 national report. BayCare focuses on continuous process improvement and most importantly, patient safety, in caring for hundreds of thousands of patients and families each year.
