What is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon?
A fellowship-trained breast surgeon has completed a surgical residency and has had additional training in breast surgery or oncology. At BayCare’s Comprehensive Breast Care Centers, you’re treated by these surgeons who have received specialized training in all aspects of breast cancer care. -
I'm concerned about a family history of breast cancer. Is genetic testing available?Yes. Patients can receive timely referrals for genetic counseling and testing.
