Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists
Our team includes Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCESs), registered nurses and dietitians trained to help with:
- Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
- Latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA)
- Gestational diabetes and diabetes during pregnancy
- Diabetes in children
CDCESs are certified by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education. They teach patients about healthy eating, checking blood sugar, taking medicine, staying active and preventing problems.
