Doctor Bio
- Dr. Farrar is board certified in family medicine and has a sub-specialty in sports medicine. He graduated with a BA in biology and earned his MD from the University of Louisville. He completed his specialty training in sports medicine at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. Dr. Farrar has been the program director for the sports medicine fellowship at Morton Plant in partnership with USF Health since 2012. He has been published in Current Sports Medicine Reports and has been a contributing author for the American Medical Society for sports medicine’s specialty exam study guide.
