Sarah C. Manitsas, MD

Dr. Sarah Manitsas is board certified in gastroenterology and is with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, in 2002. Dr. Manitsas completed an internal medicine internship and residency and a gastroenterology fellowship at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She manages acute and chronic gastrointestinal illnesses and provides preventive GI care. Dr. Manitsas treats diseases of the gastrointestinal system, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal disorders, gastric disorders, colon disorders, functional bowel disorders, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. She performs upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. Dr. Manitsas emphasizes comprehensive and compassionate patient care by taking time to explain health conditions and creating personalized treatment plans. She’s a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Manitsas is affiliated with Morton Plant Hospital.
