Dr. Erika Agnew is a board-certified family medicine physician with BayCare Medical Group, serving the Lutz community, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Agnew earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She continued her medical education by completing a family medicine residency at Saint Vincent Hospital/Allegheny Health Network in Erie.
Dr. Agnew believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. She has a passion for preventative women's health and is devoted to ensuring the longevity of her patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. She takes her time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all her patients. Dr. Agnew loves yoga and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training which she feels has made her a better physician. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
