Dr. David Dodd is board certified in thoracic surgery and vascular surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry and his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He continued his education with a general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Dodd then completed a peripheral vascular surgery and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis.
Dr. Dodd’s clinical interests include cardiovascular diseases and valvular heart disease. Dr. Dodd is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association and the American Medical Association.
