NOVA® Qmra

What is it?

NOVA® Qmra is a procedure combining with magnetic resonance imaging to provide 3D images of blood vessel arrangements and also measures blood vessel flow. It determines flow in milliliter/minute. NOVA is noninvasive and contrast material is unnecessary for the procedure. Through this procedure, doctors can examine complete blood vessel arrangements or target precise sections of a vessel that are problematic.

What is it for?

NOVA specializes in examining the head and neck and is used in analyzing and treating patients at risk for or suffering from cerebral aneurysms and stroke. The procedure is also used for patients with neurovascular disease from chronic conditions including diabetes and heart disease.
