Teaching family medicine residents as well as medical and pharmacy students at Florida Hospital led Dr. Johns to academia, where he served as Assistant Professor of pharmacy practice at Auburn University School of Pharmacy. He joined Morton Plant Mease in 1996 and has been faculty with the USF-MPM Family Medicine Residency at the Turley Family Health Center since 2000.
