BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Dr. Ryneal Eugenio

Ryneal Eugenio, DO, has joined BayCare Medical Group at 1601 W. Timberlane Drive, Suite 100, in Plant City. He is board certified in general surgery with a specialization in bariatric surgery and is accepting new patients 18 and older.

Dr. Eugenio focuses on procedures involving the abdomen, including the stomach, small and large intestines, and gallbladder as well as upper and lower endoscopy. He performs weight-loss surgeries using minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and robotics. Dr. Eugenio is affiliated with South Florida Baptist Hospital.

Dr. Eugenio is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Physicians and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. 

Dr. Eugenio earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. He completed a general surgery residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Mich., followed by a bariatric surgery fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
