Melissa Rose Lafleur, MD, Joins BayCare Medical Group

CLEARWATER, Fla., (Nov. 10, 2020) – M. Rose Lafleur, MD, who specializes in internal medicine, has joined BayCare Medical Group. Her office is at 2350 Sunset Point Road, Suite C, Clearwater.
After completing her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Howard University in Washington, D.C., Dr. Lafleur earned her Doctor of Medicine from The Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba. She continued her medical education by completing an integral medicine internship at Dr. Salvador Allende Hospital in Havana and an internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Lafleur partners with patients and families and is committed to providing the highest level of care for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
A seasoned lecturer and author, Dr. Lafleur has contributed her medical expertise to various peer-related organizations and educational institutions. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and Physicians for Social Responsibility. She is fluent in Spanish.
