BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Don Eslin M.D., FAAP

Tampa, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2019) – Don Eslin, M.D., FAAP, has joined BayCare Medical Group at 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL.  He is accepting new patients from birth to 21 years of age.

Dr. Eslin is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology. He has published extensively in the area of pediatric oncology and has a special interest in new drug development.  He is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Eslin is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Eslin earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. He continued his medical education by completing a pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando, FL. He followed that with a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA. 

Dr. Eslin is a National Research Fellowship award winner from the prestigious Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD, and has been awarded numerous grants for pediatric cancer research.  He has a background in medical academics, having served as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.
