BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Nadia G. Ashai, M.D.

Tampa, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2019) – Nadia G. Ashai, M.D., has joined BayCare Medical Group at 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL, and 4211 Van Dyke Rd., Suite 200, Lutz, FL.  She is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital-North, and is accepting new patients age 18 and older.

Dr. Ashai is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible for hematology and medical oncology. She completed her undergraduate degree in international relations at Tufts University in Bedford, MA, and a graduate degree in medical sciences from American University in Washington, DC. Dr. Ashai then earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland Medical School in Baltimore, MD. She continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Ashai then completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.

An accomplished author, Dr. Ashai has contributed numerous articles to peer reviewed publications. She also is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Ashai is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Medical Association.
