North Greenwood Community Health Fair Scheduled for November 3

Free Health Screenings and Information

CLEARWATER, Fla., (October 8, 2018)— To continue to improve the health of the North Greenwood Community, Mt. Olive AME Church has again partnered with BayCare’s Faith Community Nursing and Pastoral Care department to host the North Greenwood Community Health Fair Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event will be held in the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1201 Douglas Ave., Clearwater.

Free services scheduled to be offered include:
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Body mass index/obesity screenings
  • Total cholesterol testing
  • Health risk assessments
  • Flu vaccines
  • Glucose testing
  • Depression screenings
  • Advance directive information
  • Nutritional Information
  • Diabetes prevention information
  • Cancer prevention information
  • Heart health tips
  • Substance abuse prevention information
Medical professionals will provide consultation, educational materials and community resources.

Preregistration and fasting are not necessary for the tests.
