Dr. Nobo specializes in gastroenterology.

Tampa, Fla. (Aug. 14, 2018) – Christopher Nobo, MD, has joined BayCare Medical Group at 4301 N. Habana Ave. in Tampa, as well as the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Dr. Nobo is board certified in internal medicine, specializing in gastroenterology with certification in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Fluent in Spanish and an experienced researcher, he has participated in numerous studies on gastrointestinal, esophageal and duodenal involvement in cancer patients, and evaluating nutritional deficiencies in the veteran population.

Dr. Nobo earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina before returning to the Morsani College of Medicine for a fellowship in gastroenterology. He now is a member of the American Medical Association, American Gastroenterological Association and Florida Medical Association, where he is also a board member of its Council of Medical Education, Science and Public Health.
