St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation 2015 Legacy Dinner Features TheVisualMD.Com Founder Alexander Tsiaras

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (Jan. 13, 2015) -- Alexander Tsiaras, founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of TheVisualMD.com, will be the guest speaker at the St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation Legacy Awards and Dinner on Feb. 26, 2015.

Tsiaras, who began his career in journalism in 1972 by co-authoring a book at the age of 19, founded TheVisualMD.com in 1997 as a health website that uses art and technology to show inside and unseen parts of the human body. Tsiaras has gone on to write several bestsellers, including From Conception to Birth: A Life Unfolds; The Architecture and Design of Man and Woman: The Marvel of the Human Body, Revealed; and the InVision Guides to Healthy Heart, Sexual Health and Life Blood.

He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the World Press Award, Webby and the prestigious Satava Award for his work in the improvement of medicine through advanced technology.  Tsiaras’ work has been featured on the covers of Time, New York Magazine, Smithsonian, LIFE and the London Sunday Times Magazine.

The Foundation’s Legacy and Awards Dinner will be held at the Hilton Carillon Park, 950 Lake Carillon Drive, St. Petersburg. Tickets for the dinner are $75.
