June Seminars Spotlight Prostate Health, Hearing Loss, and Memory

CLEARWATER, Fla., (April 30, 2014) - June is Men’s Health Month, and Morton Plant Mease health experts invite the community to attend a presentation on men’s general and prostate health. We also are offering upcoming health seminars in June focusing on hearing loss, and memory and sleep. The monthly seminars are free and held at various Morton Plant Mease facilities and community centers around Pinellas County. 

Men’s General and Prostate Health
June 4, 12:30 p.m. 
YMCA of the Suncoast, Teen Room, 1005 S. Highland Ave., Clearwater 

Webb McCanse, MD, will discuss general men’s health concerns and offer tips and facts about prostate cancer. 

Coping with Hearing Loss

Join an audiologist to learn more about various strategies for dealing with hearing loss.

Memory and Sleep
June 18, 6 p.m.
Mease Countryside Hospital, Meeting Rooms 1-3, 3231 McMullen-Booth Road, Safety Harbor

Join neurologist Diana Pollock, MD, to learn more about how your brain processes information and forming memories while you sleep, and how being sleep-deprived impacts your memory and overall health.
