St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation Annual Gala on Kentucky Derby Day

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (April 9, 2014) – The St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation invites everyone to its spring “Derby Gala” on May 3. The Gala begins at 5 p.m. at the University Student Center at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, 200 Sixth Ave. S.

The Derby Gala will coincide with the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby which will be shown live at the event at 6:15 p.m. After the race, the evening is just beginning with a special program, silent auction, dinner, a dessert and coffee bar and dancing.

Proceeds from the annual event will help fund the hospital’s Memory Disorders Center which will offer world-class services to diagnose and treat memory disorders.

Traditional Derby attire is encouraged – colorful dresses and wide-brimmed hats adorned with flowers and feathers. Black tie is optional.

Gala tickets start at $250 per guest. Event and table sponsorships also are available.
