Common minimally-invasive procedures include:

• Laparoscopy: Using tiny cameras and small incisions, laparoscopic surgery is used to diagnose and manage conditions of the reproductive organs, lower abdomen and pelvis
• Endometrial ablation: removal of the uterine lining to reduce abnormal bleeding
• Hysterectomy: (abdominal, vaginal, radical, laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy) removal of part or all of the uterus to treat uterine cancer, fibroid tumors, endometriosis, uterine prolapse, or other conditions of the uterus
• Hysteroscopy: to remove polyps and fibroids, perform selective endometrial biopsies and address scarring in the endometrial cavity.
