After Delivery, Wait Before Jogging
If you've had a normal delivery, you should still wait until your health care provider gives the OK after having a baby to do any serious jogging. Your pelvis joints need to shift back into place after delivery, and putting too much strain on them too soon may cause inflammation, say medical experts at New York Methodist Hospital. Meanwhile, do low-impact exercises, such as walking and light upper-body weight training. If you've had a cesarean section or other complications during delivery, check with your health care provider on how and when to proceed with exercise.
