Summer vacation is coming to an end. And fast. As a parent, you’ve got lots of details, tasks and things to firm up as your kids head back to school. And one of those might be to get your child a physical. For many schools, it’s a necessity. In fact, if you’ve moved here from another state, Florida law requires that new students in kindergarten through the 12th grade must have had a physical exam within the past 12 months. The results of the exam need to be brought to your child’s school when you take them to be enrolled.
If you have a pediatrician, we encourage you to schedule an appointment soon to beat the rush. If you do not have a pediatrician or and want to establish a relationship, call (888) 487-0183 for a referral to a quality pediatrician near you.
If you need an appointment immediately, BayCare Urgent Care can help. Take your kids to a BayCare Urgent Care center for their school physical.
