Sleep Disorder Support Groups
If you or a member of you family have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder, you may benefit from one of the sleep disorder-related support groups offered by BayCare. We provide a wide variety of educational classes and events throughout the Tampa Bay area so that individuals can get information about symptoms, causes, risks, and treatments for sleep disorders. CPAP/BiLevel clinics
Morton Plant Mease and BayCare HomeCare work as a team to provide support to our patients using CPAP or Bi-level pressure machines for the treatment of sleep apnea. Patients currently using a CPAP/BiLevel machine can obtain advice on proper use of their equipment or assistance with equipment adjustments through our CPAP/BiLevel clinics. No appointment is necessary and there is no charge for the clinic. Below is the weekly schedule for each location:

A.W.A.K.E.
The American Sleep Apnea Association A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well, And Keeping Energetic) Network is composed of hundreds of mutual-help support groups in nearly all 50 states to assist patients affected by sleep apnea and their families. Anyone seeking support is welcome, including patients not studied at Morton Plant Mease centers, family members, friends, and those looking for information on sleep disorders. Morton Plant Mease A.W.A.K.E. meetings are held monthly at Mease Countryside Hospital. Contact Marietta Bibbs at (727) 725-6455 for more information.
