BayCare provides laboratory services at patient service centers located throughout Tampa Bay, ranging from general to specialized testing at both inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Our laboratories feature:
- Convenient Walk-In Service: There is no need to make an appointment at any of our locations*. Simply walk in and receive efficient, personalized service.
- Accuracy: Our professional staff, state-of-the-art equipment and strong quality assurance help us in providing accurate test results. BayCare Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This program is based on rigorous standards which improve patient safety, advance quality of care, and meet the highest standards of excellence.
- Excellent Service: Our staff consists of experts with years of experience and a commitment to excellent customer service that is unmatched in the Tampa Bay area. The services we provide meet the needs and exceed the expectations of both physicians and patients.
- Availability: Our patient service centers cater to your busy schedule. Couriers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for pick-up and transport of specimens from physician offices.
*Except for glucose tolerance testing and some rare tests that require special preparation.
