BayCare Offers Virtual Maternity Center Tours

BayCare is here for growing families, no matter where they are in their pregnancy journey. Along with the mounting anticipation of welcoming a new baby into the world, parents-to-be are often anxious to know what to expect from their hospital stay. 

While in-person tours have been temporarily canceled during the global pandemic, BayCare offers detailed virtual tours for all seven of its maternity hospitals - Mease Countryside Hospital, Morton Plant Hospital, South Florida Baptist Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital-North, St. Joseph's Hospital-South, St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital and Winter Haven Women’s Hospital. 

The virtual tours include information on the private labor and delivery suites, spacious and private mom and baby rooms, high risk maternity units, neonatal intensive care units, hospital lobbies, gift shops and more. 

BayCare also offers a variety of podcasts and online maternity resources, which can be accessed from the comfort of your own home. Podcast and online handout topics include pregnancy nutrition, postpartum pelvic pain, breastfeeding tips, self-care after pregnancy and safety tips for babies and kids.
