BayCare Medical Group Welcomes Dr. Piyush V. Sovani

TAMPA, Fla. (November 9, 2020) – Piyush V. Sovani, M.D., has joined BayCare Medical Group, 4612 N. Habana Ave., 2nd floor, Tampa. He is board certified in echocardiography, nuclear medicine, vascular imaging and internal medicine. He is accepting new patients age 18 and older. Dr. Sovani is associated with St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa. 

Dr. Sovani also speaks Hindi and Marathi.

His clinical interests include preventive cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and heart failure.

Dr. Sovani earned his doctor of medicine from Marshall University, Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Huntington, West Virginia. He continued his medical education with an internal medicine residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. Dr. Sovani completed a fellowship in cardiology at Northwell Health North Shore and Long Island Jewish Hospitals, Manhasset, New York.
