Andrew Fink, MD, Selected Director of Physician Services for Morton Plant North Bay Hospital

Board Certified Physician Has Practiced Locally for Nearly 10 Years

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., (April 3, 2014) - Serving as an important liaison between the hospital’s physicians, medical staff and administration, Andrew Fink, MD, FACP, has been selected as new Director of Physician Services for Morton Plant North Bay Hospital.

“Dr. Fink has an enormous amount of experience that he brings to this position. His local ties, leadership skills and dedication to quality health care are tremendous assets to our organization,” said Bruce Flareau, MD, executive vice president of BayCare Health System.

Dr. Fink is board certified in internal medicine and has been a member of the Pasco County community for nearly 10 years.

After finishing his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Fink practiced in Albany, GA and Sarasota before joining Morton Plant Mease Primary Care in 2005, practicing locally in New Port Richey. 

In addition to his Internal Medicine practice, Dr. Fink has been very active in administrative and committee work with BayCare Health System. He has served on the BayCare and Morton Plant North Bay Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees since 2006 and has been a valuable participant on the BayCare Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Physician Advisory Committee as well as the Morton Plant Mease Primary Care EMR Committee.
