Accreditations

In 2020, St. Joseph’s Hospital achieved the American College of Radiology/Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation (ACR/ROPA). Facility team members, equipment, treatment planning and treatment records were assessed. Patient safety policies and quality control/quality activities were reviewed and found to meet the high standards required for accreditation.

St. Joseph’s Hospital is also accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), which recognizes hospitals that treat cancer as a complex group of diseases requiring multidisciplinary collaboration among surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and other cancer specialists. CoC accreditation challenges St. Joseph’s Hospital to stay focused on patient-centered needs and encourages continued measurement of quality care against national standards.
