At St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, our specialized hematology-oncology team is passionate about elevating quality care for children with blood disorders and cancers. Our comprehensive model leverages a team of four physicians to foster a continuum of quality care from research to recovery.

The hematology-oncology program is also heavily supported by Child Lifewhich is particularly important to keeping kids feeling and acting like kids when they are hospitalized for long periods of time. Child Life also works with parents and family members to help them support their children during their stay.

Pediatric Cancer Research Laboratory

Our highly skilled research team conducts laboratory testing for clinical research studies and basic science research related to children's hematology and oncology through the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Institute.
