Walk In Care Locations are Back Open
Walk-In Care kiosks have reopened all locations as of June 1 with enhanced infection control measures in place to protect shoppers, Publix Pharmacy staff and the community.
The doctor’s office, the pharmacy, the grocery store – these are all places you might have to go when you or a family member gets sick. But what if you could visit all three in one convenient place? That’s Walk-In Care.
When sickness strikes, you can go to your closest Walk-In Care, located inside select Publix pharmacies, and have a virtual visit with a board-certified doctor in minutes. Simply tell the pharmacy team that you’d like to have a Walk-In Care visit and they will show you into a private room and give you directions and helpful tips on how to use BayCareAnywhere®. It’s the convenience of virtual care, with a personal touch. Plus, a unique feature of Walk-In Care is the availability of devices like blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, and other smart devices that can help your doctor give a more accurate diagnosis.
If the BayCareAnywhere doctor gives you a prescription or recommends an over-the-counter medication, just pick it up at the pharmacy while you’re there. Plus, if you want to stock up on good food to help you feel better, you won’t need to make a separate trip to the grocery store. You’re right where you need to be to get orange juice, tissues, chicken noodle soup, and everything else you may need for a quick recovery.
Walk-In Care is ideal for adults and children two years and older who have minor illness or conditions, such as:
