William Ulbricht is the president of St. Anthony's Health Care, a one-hospital health system with 395 beds located in St. Petersburg. St. Anthony's is part of BayCare, a community-based health care system in the Tampa Bay area.
Ulbricht was appointed president of St. Anthony's in April 2007. He spent the past 10 years as the chief operating officer for South Florida Baptist Hospital, a full-service 147-bed facility in Plant City and one of BayCare's nine hospitals. He has more than 15 years of operational and management experience and a strong background in health care finance.
With a proven track record for being a successful leader in BayCare, Ulbricht's experience in health care includes hospital administration, strategic planning, health care finance, medical staff development and ambulatory care. Ulbricht also volunteered his time in leadership positions for various Plant City organizations, such as the Plant City Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA, the Lions Club and the city’s Planning Board. Ulbricht also has served on the boards of the American Cancer Society and the United Way.
Ulbricht received his bachelor’s degree in business administration - finance from the University of Kentucky and his master’s degree in business administration from Regis University in Denver.
