25th Annual Winter Haven Hospital Foundation Gala
Winter Haven Hospital Foundation’s 25th annual Gala will be held on Thursday, November 13th. The Gala is Polk County’s premier, black tie event with an audience comprised of the area’s most generous civic, business and philanthropic leaders. All proceeds from this event will be utilized locally to support the patients served at Winter Haven Hospital’s Regency Center for Women and Infants, Bostick Heart Center, Cassidy Cancer Center, Family Health Centers, and the many other services Winter Haven Hospital provides to our community. The Winter Haven Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that the 24th Winter Haven Hospital Foundation Gala helped to raise over $600,000 in vital funds. This year's event held November 7, 2013, at Nora Mayo Hall, has been hailed on of the best yet. All proceeds from the evening will be utilized locally to support the patients served by Winter Haven Hospital's Regency Center for Women and Infants, Bostick Heart Center, Cassidy Cancer Center, Family Health Centers and the many other services Winter Haven Hospital provides to our community.
The Gala is Polk County's signature black-tie charitable fundraising event and is held annually to help support Winter Haven Hospital.

Polk County Cup
The Polk County Cup tennis tournament was started in 2012 by John and Tracy Scheck to raise awareness of the needs of newborns requiring special care due to illness or premature birth. Proceeds from this event benefit the Winter Haven Hospital Regency Center for Women and Infants Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Lewis Family "Swing for the Cure"
The Lewis Family Cancer Fund (LFCF), within the GiveWell Community Foundation, was founded in 2010 by two brothers Josh and Geoff Lewis. The fund was established to help promote public awareness and assist in funding research development in the prevention and cure of cancer. LFCF is committed to further advances in research and to alert the public of the importance of early detection and diagnosis. Proceeds raised from this two-day event benefit the Winter Haven Hospital Cassidy Cancer Center.
