In observance of National Recovery Month, BayCare Behavioral Health is hosting events the weekend of September 25th to help educate the community about the disease of addiction and to raise money to provide necessary services and support for BayCare Behavioral Health's Veterans Initiative (more).

Morton Plant Mease Marks Prostate Cancer
In observation of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in September, the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease will present a series of special lectures, free health care screenings and a 5K family friendly run/walk event. Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer found in American men, outside of skin cancer, and second only to lung cancer as the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in males (more).
