Abuse
The Aftercare Program provides relapse prevention, which is a
vital part of all substance abuse treatment. The aftercare program, based at the
Harbor Academy, offers services and activities to assist the youth in
reintegrating into their family, school and communities. More
Outpatient: Children’s Substance
Abuse
The Children’s Substance Abuse Program provides services to
youth seeking treatment for alcohol and/or drug abuse/dependency. The Program
has a brief, solution-focused orientation, primarily through various group
therapies, which are the main modality of treatment. More
Prevention: Children’s Substance
Abuse
The Children’s Substance
Abuse Prevention Program provides empirically-based, universal substance abuse
prevention educational curriculum targeting youth and families. The frequency of
the workshops can be varied to meet needs of indivdual groups. More
Residential: Children’s Substance Abuse
The Harbor Academy is an
18-bed residential substance abuse treatment facility for adolescents with an
average 4-6 month length of stay. Treatment includes individual, group, and
family therapy. Milieu Treatment is provided within the therapeutic community
along with Rational Recovery and 12-step self-help support groups. More
