Stephen R. Mason is the president and CEO of BayCare Health System, the largest, community-based health system in the Tampa Bay area with more than 20,100 employees, 10 hospitals and 200 access points. BayCare connects patients to a complete range of services through its not-for-profit hospitals, outpatient and imaging facilities, home care and other clinical services.
Mason came to BayCare in May 2004 and has more than 30 years of health care experience. He has successfully championed several major initiatives and system-wide improvements at BayCare as the organization has grown into one of the top employers in the region.
Glenn Waters is the president of BayCare's Hospital Division, which consists of 11 not-for-profit hospitals and 3,431 licensed beds across Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk and Pinellas counties.
Waters is responsible for operations, strategic planning and clinical integration of BayCare’s hospitals. He was named hospital division president in 2013 after five years as president of Morton Plant Mease Health Care where he earned a reputation as a forward-thinking, strategic leader.
Bruce Flareau is president of BayCare Physician Partners, a clinically integrated network in the Tampa Bay area with 1,200 physicians. He also leads clinical leadership and quality teams as the executive vice president of Physician Affairs at BayCare Health System, the leading health system in the Tampa Bay area.
Dr. Flareau has been a national and international speaker on a variety of health care topics, including clinical, academic, administrative, information technology, leadership development and healthcare reform. He also has written a variety of published articles and chapters. Most recently, he co-authored the book, "Clinical Integration, A Roadmap to Accountable Care," which is now in its second edition.
Tommy Inzina is chief operating officer of BayCare, the largest, community-based health system in the Tampa Bay area with 10 hospitals, 200 access points, and more than 20,100 employees. BayCare connects patients to a complete range of services through its not-for-profit hospitals, outpatient and imaging facilities, home care and other clinical services.
As BayCare's COO, Inzina oversees the following departments: hospital operations, human resources, information technology, legal services, strategic planning, marketing & communications, ambulatory services, supply chain and construction. Inzina accepted the position of COO in 2013 after years of serving as BayCare's chief financial officer and chief administrative officer. As one of BayCare's top leaders since 1997, Inzina has played a key role in the organizations' continued growth into one of the top employers in the Tampa Bay area.
