About Us

BayCare Laboratories, LLC is a Florida-based reference laboratory offering specialized testing for infectious disease, oncology and genetic abnormalities. Our specialized lab is part of BayCare Health System, a not-for-profit health system comprised of 11 hospitals the Tampa Bay area. Our lab was developed from a need originating from our hospitals and area physicians who requested faster turnaround and accessibility to pathologists and clinical staff for questions. We determined it was in our best interest to create a lab in the Tampa Bay area that could serve our hospitals as well as area physicians and hospital systems with their testing needs. 
 
BayCare Laboratories offers the latest testing technology and instrumentation ensuring quality and timely results. We offer a complete menu of services including Flow Cytometry, FISH, Cytogenetics and Molecular testing.

Our scientific staff includes board-certified pathologists, highly specialized scientists, and specialty-trained technologists who are readily available for consultation or questions. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized attention to every client, ensuring quality service and results.
