BayCare Health System Begins Construction of New Outpatient Center
Construction Underway for Outpatient Center Offering Radiology, Laboratory, Specialty Physician Services, Sleep Disorders Testing
TAMPA, Fla., (Dec. 16, 2008) - Having trouble sleeping? In need of a radiology test, pediatrician or doctor specializing in sports medicine? These health care services and more will be offered at BayCare Outpatient Center at Hampton Lakes. Construction for the new outpatient center located at 12780 Race Track Rd. in Tampa began July, 2008.
This is an area of Hillsborough County that�s anticipated to grow significantly in the coming years. It�s a wonderful place to raise a family and families need health care options. BayCare Outpatient Center at Hampton Lakes will provide access to primary and specialty care ' from pediatrics to orthopaedics,� said Denton Crockett, Jr., senior vice president, ambulatory services, BayCare Health System.
The $15 million outpatient center will be four stories high and encompass approximately 52,000 square feet. Health care services offered by the center include:
- Sleep disorders testing
- Radiology testing
- Laboratory testing
- Primary care physician offices
Physician offices specializing in pediatrics, orthopaedics, sports medicine and urology will also be based at BayCare Outpatient Center which is anticipated to open to the public in summer 2009.
The developer for the project is the Graham Group, Inc. of Des Moines, Iowa. The architectural firm is TRO Jung/Brannen based in Boston, Massachusetts and the general contractor is Diaz Fritz Isabel of Tampa, Florida.
