The Warm Line: Adult Mental
Health
Program Description
The information and referral line, known as "The Warm Line," is
part of the recovery vision for The Harbor's Adult
Comprehensive Service Team (CCST). The Warm Line is operated
by Recovery Coaches who have first-hand experience using the behavioral
health and substance abuse system and can provide a perspective that is very
helpful, informative and healing.
Coaches help callers with daily living challenges, such as how
to use public transportation and how to access benefits. Coaches
also provide linkage to other programs or
community services and assistance with
the follow-up care/linkage from stabilization/inpatient
stays. Information and Referral Services are provided
to all persons seeking information regarding CCST and recovery-oriented
services. This service is available 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. The Warm
Line maintains information about all community resources and
services.
