Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse and
Mental Health Treatment
Program Description
Outpatient services provide a therapeutic environment which is
designed to improve the functioning or prevent further deterioration of adults
and adolescents with mental health or substance abuse problems. Outpatient
treatment is focused, solution-oriented process to resolve problems, and relieve
distress.
Individual, couples, family, group psychotherapy and medication
consultations are common modalities appropriate for different presenting
problems. Outpatient care may employ any or all of the above modalities.
Services are offered weekly and provided on a regularly scheduled basis by
appointments. Services are often integrated with primary referral sources:
primary care physicians, impaired nurses program, managed care companies,
community providers and self referrals.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9
p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
