Prevention: Adult Substance Abuse

Program Description

The Harbors Adult Substance Abuse Prevention Program provides universal substance abuse prevention education targeting adults in the local community. Our program provides empirically based educational curriculum. A unique feature of this prevention program is our ability to provide service at various locations throughout the community.  We have several evidenced-based curriculum to help us meet the needs of the specific population. Additionally, facilitators offer opportunities for advocacy and socialization, as well as linkage and referrals, to other needed services. The target population includes adults in the general population at risk of developing substance abuse problems.
