Dr. Benedetti studied at Miami University and received his medical degree, with honors, from The Medical College of Ohio. He went on to complete a 6-year General Surgery training program at The University of California, Davis Medical Center and completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Virginia Health Science Center.

Dr. Benedetti recently moved to Florida from Portland, Oregon, with his cosmetic surgery practice, Benedetti Cosmetic Surgery, which is also located in the Carillon Outpatient Center. Along with his wife and two young daughters, Dr. Benedetti enjoys the healthy environment and numerous outdoor activities available in the Tampa/St. Petersburg community.

Lara K. Hartford, M.P.H.A.
MedSpa Manager 

Lara joined BayCare MedSpa with over 10 years of experience in the health care industry. She attended Brigham Young University under a talent scholarship and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors.

She went on to receive a Masters of Health Policy and Administration, with a finance emphasis at Washington State University, where she was awarded the Wall Street Journal Student of the Year Award. Lara has experience as a financial healthcare analyst, contract negotiator and most recently worked with Dr. Benedetti to develop a cosmetic program at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon, where she was the Program Manager.

Lara has been so impressed with Dr. Benedetti�s surgical skills and vision that she was happy to move to Florida to be a part of Benedetti Cosmetic Surgery, where she also works as the Practice Manager in addition to her role with the BayCare MedSpa. Lara and her husband have three beautiful daughters and in her spare time she loves to spend time with her girls and since moving to Florida, go running along the beach.

Angela Lillie
Medical Aesthetician

Angela received her training and education at Keiser Career College, which was the first school in Pinellas County to offer a 1200-hour skin care medical program. A licensed paramedical aesthetician, Angela has been involved in the beauty industry for more than 10 years. She also serves on the paramedical aesthetician board at Keiser Career College.  

Angela is trained and certified in facials, medical microdermabrasion, physician-grade chemical peels, LED light therapy treatments, hair removal, ear candling and professional make-up techniques. She truly cares for her patients and loves providing expert advise that can help them choose the right skin care treatment and the right customized home care regimen so they can achieve their goal of beautiful-looking skin.
