Intervention: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
Program Description
This program provides education to help individuals reduce
their risk of being exposed to the HIV virus. A risk assessment is conducted in
a culturally and ethically sensitive manner. Pre- and post-counseling/education
tests are provided. Enhanced counseling and education will culminate in the
development of individualized risk reduction and health enhancement plans. The
HIV Intervention Program provides linkage, monitoring and planning. The primary
referral sources for HIV services are from The Harbor�s residential, acute care
and detoxification facilities, and the Pasco County Health Dept.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 5
p.m.
