 Stephen R. Mason BayCare Health System
|
Stephen R. Mason is the president and CEO of BayCare, a community-based health care system in the Tampa Bay area with more than 17,400 employees. BayCare connects patients to a complete range of services through its not-for-profit hospitals, outpatient and imaging facilities, and other regional services that reach beyond the Bay area. In 2007, BayCare provided $157 million in total community benefit.
At the helm of BayCare since May 2004, Mason has successfully guided the health system through several major initiatives and system-wide improvements. Under Mason's leadership, BayCare launched a 7-year project to implement an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) throughout the health system. Once completed, BayCare's EMR, known as BEACON, will advance superior health care by transforming paper-based medical records into a fully electronic chart that provides clinicians with real-time access to patient information from all points of care.  Glenn Waters Morton Plant Mease Health Care

Glenn Waters is the president of Morton Plant Mease Health Care, a four-hospital, 1,207-bed health care system with locations in Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor and New Port Richey, Fla. He was appointed this position in 2008.
Previously, Mr. Waters was the chief operating officer at Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, North Carolina. There, Waters led the development of a freestanding, outpatient cardiac catherization joint venture with cardiologists, the planning of the $275 million expansion of its flagship hospital and the development of a new organizational structure that allowed leaders to work more closely with employed physicians. William Ulbricht is the president of St. Anthony's Health Care, a one-hospital health system with 395 beds located in St. Petersburg. St. Anthony's Health Care is part of BayCare, a community-based health care system in the Tampa Bay area.
Ulbricht was appointed president of St. Anthony's in April 2007. He spent the past 10 years as the chief operating officer for South Florida Baptist Hospital, a full-service 147-bed facility in Plant City and one of BayCare's nine hospitals. He has more than 15 years of operational and management experience and a strong background in health care finance. More

Isaac Mallah is the president of St. Joseph's Hospitals in Tampa and South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City. With over 1,030 beds, St. Joseph’s Hospitals and South Florida Baptist Hospital are part of BayCare, a community-based health care system in the Tampa Bay area.
Mallah joined St. Joseph’s Hospital in 1976 as an administrative resident to complete his master’s degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University in Ohio. Since then, he has held a variety of positions within St. Joseph’s. He was the chief operating officer when St. Joseph’s Health System acquired John Knox Village and Humana Women’s Hospital in Tampa.
